هاينريش جيلزر (1 يوليو 1847 في برلين - 11 يوليو 1906 في ينا) كان عالمً كلاسيكيات ألماني. له مؤلفات أيضًا في الميثولوجيا الأرمنية.[1] وهو ابن المؤرخ السويسري يوهان هاينريش جيلزر (1813 – 1889). حاز على درجة الأستاذية في فقه اللغة الكلاسيكي والتاريخ القديم عام 1878 من جامعة ينا. ولايزال كتابه عن يوليوس أفريكانوس المرجع المعتمد عنه.[2] كما عَمِلَ على وضع التسلسل الزمني لفترة حكم غيغس مستعينًا بما عثر عليه من الكتابات المسمارية في بحث نُشِرَ عام 1875.[3]
