Problems

  • The import tool was broken for a few days. Imports didn't add log entries. You can delete and import pages again if necessary. [6]

Changes this week

  • The new version of MediaWiki has been on test wikis and MediaWiki.org since April 1. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis from April 7. It will be on all Wikipedias from April 8 (calendar).
  • You can now add the same special characters with VisualEditor as with the wikitext editor. [11]
  • Many bugs around copy-paste in VisualEditor are now fixed. [12] [13]
  • You can now use basic tools of VisualEditor in the new talk tool. You can add links, bold and italics. You can also mention people. [14]

Meetings

  • You can join the next weekly meeting with the Editing team. During the meetings you can tell developers which bugs are the most important. The meeting will be on April 8 at 18:00 (UTC). See how to join.

Future changes

مشاكل مُتعددة في قوالب المراجع

مرحبًا جميعًا. مُنذ فترةٍ ليست بالقليلة حدث أمرٌ ما لِقوالب المراجع فأصبحت بعض الخانات تُشير إلى أنَّ مُحتواها مفقود بعد أن كان تجاهله في السَّابق لا يُسبب هذه المُشكلة، مثلًا:

T.؛ Roof, J. (2007). "Carduelis tristis". Animal Diversity Web. University of Michigan Museum of Zoology. تمت أرشفته من الأصل على 8 February 2008. اطلع عليه بتاريخ 4 February 2008. وسائط |coauthors= تم تجاهلها (مساعدة)

عبارة «تمَّ تجاهُلها» لم تكن تظهر بحال لم يتم ملء هذه الخانة، أمَّا الآن فهي تظهر، وتُشوِّه شكل المراجع، لا سيَّما وأنها تتكرر في أكثر من موقع. كُنت أقوم بتصحيح الأمر يدويًّا، لكن سئمت من البحث والتنقيب، ويجب حل المُشكلة بشكلٍ جذريّ.

أيضًا، من المشاكل الجديدة في المراجع هي هذه:

  • The new version of MediaWiki has been on test wikis and MediaWiki.org since April 8. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis from April 14. It will be on all Wikipedias from April 15 (calendar).
  • Developers will start to rename 1.5 million accounts on Wednesday. After that all accounts will be unique and will work on all wikis. [21] [22]
  • All users can now test link previews ("Hovercards") on several Wikipedias. [23]

اللغة العربية في أداة الترجمة الجديدة من ويكيميديا

أهلا بالجميع، ربما قرأ بعضكم عن أداة Content translation التجريبية والتي تقوم المؤسسة بتفعيلها حسب الطلب، ووصل عدد اللغات التي تم تفعيل الأداة لها إلى 22 لغة. الإحصائيات الأولية مشجعة وأعتقد أن هذه الأداة ستفيدنا كثيرًا. لذلك أعتقد أننا يجب أن نقوم بتقديم طلب لتفعيل الأداة في اللغة العربية. --زياد ( ملفي • نقاشي • راسلني ) 17:36، 13 أبريل 2015 (ت ع م)

تصدير كتب بتنسيق epub

طرح هنا سؤال عن إمكانية تصدير الكتب بتنسيق epub، وأعتقد أن مثل هذه الخدمة تفيد خاصة أصحاب الهواتف الذكية والحواسيب اللوحية. فهل توجد الخاصية حتى يتم تفعيلها أم علينا طلب ذلك من مطوري ويكيميديا. --- مع تحياتي ---(أدلي برأيك)-- وهراني 11:35، 19 أبريل 2015 (ت ع م)

حسب ما وجدت، يمكن القيام بذلك باستعمال الإضافة Collection (وهي مثبتة) مع إدراج التنسيق EPub ضمن التنسيقات مثلما هو موضح في صفحة الإضافة. أي :

@وهراني: حقيقة كنت أؤمن بها من أول مرة طرحت فيها بعض مشاكل نسخة الجوال هنا هي أنه إن لم يطرح الموضوع من قبل إداري في هذا الميدان فلن يتجاوب أحد. وبالفعل ذاك أحد الأسباب. مثلا نسخة الجوال تعاني من مشاكل جمة لكن لماذا سأتعب نفسي بكتابتها وشرحها بالتفصيل الممل طالما لن أجد تجاوبا. الأفضل لي أخذ الطريق من قصيرها وترك الموضوع. تحياتي--Avicenno (نقاش) 08:26، 2 مايو 2015 (ت ع م)

Please test VisualEditor in your language!

It is very important to us at the Editing Department that VisualEditor works in every language, for every user.

VisualEditor's editing environment is a browser ContentEditable element. This means that your input method editor (IME) should already know how to work with it. However, to make VisualEditor correctly edit wiki pages, we have to stop browsers in lots of ways from breaking the page.

Sometimes this can interfere with IMEs. To make sure we work in your IME, we need your help: please see wikimedia.github.io/VisualEditor/demos/ve/desktop-dist.html#!pages/simple.html. This is the core system inside VisualEditor which lets you write and edit. It is different from the full editor, and some of the tools you are used to will be missing.

We're interested in particular in whether you can write text at all, what happens when you select different candidate texts, and how VisualEditor behaves in general.

We would love to hear from every language, and especially languages which use IMEs, like Japanese, Korean, Indic languages, Arabic and others. Thank you for your help.

Recent changes

  • There was sometimes a problem when saving a page in VisualEditor. It is now fixed on all wikis. [24]
  • VisualEditor sometimes showed empty warnings for wikis using Flagged Revisions. This is now fixed on all wikis. [25]
  • You can get the new version of the Wikipedia app for iOS. With it you can share facts with your friends. [26]
  • If you write JavaScript, you should stop using importScript and importStylesheet. [27]

Problems

  • There was a problem with Labs on Monday. [28]

Changes this week

مطلوب ترتيب زمني للمقالات غير المراجعة

السلام عليكم. بعد الانتهاء من مهام (مراجعة التعديلات المعلقة) حتى وصل عدد المقالات المعلقة إلى أقل من (600) مقالة، معلقة لمدة أقل من 3 أيام، أجد أمامي مهام جديدة فائقة الأهمية، حيث يوجد قرابة 68,000 (مقالة غير مراجعة) وهي تمثل 20% من مقالات الموسوعة العربية! ومنها ما يعود إلى أكثر من 3500 يوما مضت!!
وهذه المقالات موجودة هنا، لكنها غير مرتبة زمنيا بل مرتبة أبجديا. لذا أرجو ممن لديه خبرة بالبرمجة تجهيز (بوت) ينشأ لنا صفحة مرتبة زمنيا من الأقدم إلى الأحدث لنعمل عليها، أو عمل إضافة لتلك الصفحة تسمح بالترتيب الزمني. شكرا لكم. --Dr-Taher (نقاش) 13:10، 27 أبريل 2015 (ت ع م)

مرحبا. كيف أستطيع نقل صفحة ما أو بالأحرى تغيير عنوانها بأسهل طريقة؟ لأنني أجد صعوبة كبيرة في محاولة نقل صفحة مشهورة بإسم و مكتوبة بإسم آخر. مستخدم:Adnanzoom / توقيع

إذا أردت ان تنقل صفحة فبإمكانك نقلها عن طريق الضغط على خانة "أنقل" وتجدها عند الضغط على خانة مزيد قرب شريط البحث. ولكن إذا رأيت أن موضوع النقل فيه خلاف فعليك أن تضع في الصفحة هذا القالب {{نقل|اسم المقال المراد النقل إليه}} وتطرح وجهة نظرك في صفحة نقاش المقالة.--Omar35880 (نقاش) 19:51، 1 مايو 2015 (ت ع م)
